About noon, there was a little blue heron in breeding plumage perched in a tree near one of the small ponds to the left of the visitor center at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in D.C.  Thanks to the leaders of a boy scout troop for alerting me to it.  I was hoping to see a green heron, but didn't.  Not much else of note there.
