At 7:00 pm today I had a juvenile Northern Goshawk fly over my house at ~ 300 feet. I was able to scream and my wife Jane came out and also saw it. 

It flew from the SE to NW just south of Columbia Mall. I lost track of it as it flew over Hickory Ridge Rd. 



It had slow deep wing beats. Huge body, broad wings with long tips, bold streaks on belly with a buffy color. The head was very light which I thought odd.
