Weather:
Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy; 64-76 degrees; visibility fair
becoming excellent; winds westerly, 5-12 mph, gusting to 21 mph
Raptor Observations:
Two Mississippi Kites, ages unknown, at 12:03 pm. After several days of
unfavorable weather, today produced a nice late-season flight with good
numbers of Bald Eagles and Broadwings besides Turkey Vultures. The two
kites came together. Each of the two observers saw a kite and during the
observation it became clear that there were two different individuals.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays. |
