A group of birders joined Jan Reese on Tilghman Island at Black Walnut
Point for some Sunday Morning sightings.

Highlights - a nice trickle of Warblers - several Pine, a couple of
Blackburnian, at least one male Redstart and 1 or 2 Yellow Warblers.
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were everywhere - at least 30 were present, and
probably more. 40 or more Osprey were perched on the poles of the pound
nets. One Brown Pelican was also out there.

Others - several Bald Eagles, one Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, several Wood
Pewees, several Eastern Kingbirds, one Cooper's Hawk, one Red-tailed Hawk,
lots of Purple Martins, several Chimney Swifts and Hummingbirds, several
Baltimore Orioles, a couple of Royal Terns, one Hairy Woodpecker and the
others were the usual suspects. A total of 60 species made the day happily
productive.
