It was for us as well -- not an easy bird in Montgomery County. We see them
fairly regularly at Lilypons (Frederick Cty.) but I cannot recall having
seen one in Montgomery before. At least, not since I have been keeping a
county list.

We got our Mont. Sedge Wren last year at Layhill Park -- alas the pond and
rank grass meadow where we saw it is now buried under the ICC! One reason we
are now at Wheaton Park, our old "local patch" is gone!
