I was able to get out for a lunchtime walk today, down to the Lincoln Monument. Things were very quiet, but there was a large flock of robins at the DC Veteran's Memorial (and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet) and at the Constitution Gardens pond were a pair of American Wigeons and several Ring-necked Ducks.

Since September, on several occasions when I have been on the Mall, I have seen two Red-tailed Hawks near the castle, and less frequently a Cooper's Hawk.
