Hi all. I just did a brief drive by at North East Town Park. The Gulls were in great numbers and there were hundreds heading for the ice at the park coming down from the landfill. There appeared to be over 1000 birds on the ice when I was there around 3 and all were in close viewing range. I wish I could have stopped by to check it out.
The landfill is opened tomorrow, so the town park will be great for viewing Gulls if it is not foggy or raining to hard.

Don't forget, in the past week Black-headed Gull, Thayer's Gull, Iceland Gull, and good numbers of Lesser Black-backed Gulls have been seen there. I will probably be there from 12:30-3:30. Either at the Naughty Goose, the Marina next door, or the town park. I drive a red GMC Canyon fyi.
