Hi all.
I took a drive South today out of Cecil County and drove down Rt 313. Just outside of Millington there were several flocks of Horned Larks, American Pipits and Savannah Sparrows in good numbers.
A good tip from a friend sent me over to Sparks Road and a few other Roads thru out Caroline County. I turned up 6 Lapland Longspurs in one flock of Horned Larks. I found 2 more in another flock on a road I had no Idea what it was called. All roads surround Tuckahoe State Park should be good. I felt lost a few times, but the area is so beautiful. There was a minimum of 10,000 Snow Geese in the area. The Eagles kept busy stirring them up.

Here is the link to my Lapland Longspur Photographs. http://www.smbirdphotos.com/index.cgi?do=view_photos&subcatID=187
