Pandemonium at my feeder today has included a Brown Thrasher (nice), Starlings (boo) and some redwings.

One of them has shown bright orange on the throat. I'm assuming that it's a redwing...possibly a first-year male? I can't find description of this in my guides. The other redwings at the feeder show pale throats or adult male plumage.

I've posted a few pictures at

Please confirm this bird as a male Redwinged Blackbird.
