I prefer to field any future requests via email as I'm probably well over my cell plan minutes. My previous post contained my cell # to arrange visits but not the address nor directions (minor correction to below post).

I enjoyed talking with and learning from the 50 or so birders who came in one hour intervals from noon to 5 pm Sat. 2/13: from 8 am - 5 pm Sunday 2/14; and 7 am - 5 pm on Monday 2/15.

I still have to stagger arrivals since only a few driveway spots exist and cars parking in the snow-diminished street lanes caused one neighbor to complain politely.

The bunting shows no sign of visitor fatigue. He displayed himself in one visit for every single admirer, save one couple who came after 5 pm. They returned the next morning and laid eyes on him in no time. Some who came between 10 and 2 had to wait an hour or so for his emergence vs. the majority who spied him in 30 min or less.

> The male PAINTED BUNTING in Bowie was well observed this morning. Information on directions and parking has been posted previously. There were also two AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS at the site and our year's first FIELD SPARROW.
