Hi all,
I just saw a pair of Bluebirds coming and going from the box which I put back up this morning. It is one of those PVC boxes, painted to look like birchbark. Male and female both just entered and left the box. That was fast!

We have two bluebird boxes that never get bluebirds but have Tufted Tits in
hem each year. One faces west and one east.

We have two wren boxes for our "dueling wrens" -- one pair at each end of
ur large garden. One box faces west and one ESE and each is used every year
o for wrens at least, it may not make much difference. Hanging the box
here predators can't access it -- ours are off small branches far out from
he tree trunk -- and about head height seems to work.
