Ten souls ventured out to Morgan Run for the now internationally famous
WOODCOCK walk. We had one visitor from Costa Rica.

Unfortunately all of us did not quite stay together and only those with
Laura got to see one on the ground. The rest of us watched them coming and
going from their peenting spots and making their noise while they were
airborne. They put on the usual thrilling show and we all left happy.
Several birds were about. The first peent was heard by Laura's group at 7:34
and my group not until 7:39. And for the record the last Cardinal shut up at
7:29, only 5 minutes before the first peent. Tyler Bell suggested that a
15-minute gap seems normal.
