Here is southern Charles Co., things seem pretty good, wren-wise.

Carolina Wrens came to our feeder all winter, usually grabbing peanuts.

Recently we've had to close our garage doors....evidently, the wrens see our garage as a giant next box. If the doors are open for any length of time, I find a few of the shelves inside festooned with mosses and similar gifts.

We had 3-4 Carolina Wrens at our suet all during the snowstorms and the days
following, and they would also duck into the garage whenever we opened the
door and forage around the seed barrels and in-garage plants! Pretty smart!

Seem to be the usual few around now, as well...
