I am not sure if I remember correctly but someone was asking if any pairs of Owl have been seen lately.

Well, I saw two Barred Owls today during an early morning walk in a Balto Park. Bluejays were diving one sitting on a bear branch and then the other showed up in another tree not too far away. they did not seem concerned with us at all.

I was hoping to see some early warblers, but no luck there. I did see lots of Bluejays, Robins, Cardinals, Chickadees, Redbellied Woodies, heard a Pileated woodie and some Kinglets. Saw a pair of ducks flying away. Nothing special except for the owls of course. It is always a treat to see them.

A little if possible a little id help, after a visit to Blackwater yesterday we had a quick stop at the Chespeake Environmental Center and saw hundreds of ducks. I was hoping even though they are far away someone could tell me if these are Ruddy Ducks?
