This morning, a RED-EYED VIREO was singing just south of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in the Sheperd Parkway strip of woods. in SE, DC. It is a rougher area, so take a friend.

Also, a PALM WARBLER was on Kingman Island, just south of Benning RD, NE DC and was moving north with a mixed flock of blue-grey gnatcatchers, white-throated sparrows, Carolina chikadees, and downy woodpeckers.
