I saw and heard a nice collection of warblers and other neotropical migrants in the woods between Brush Run and Forebay Pond in east Columbia this morning (5/12): female Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Acadian Flycatcher, Great-crested Flycatcher (2), Red-eyed Vireo (2), Northern Parula (4), Blackpoll Warbler (3), Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler (3), Common Yellowthroat (2), American Redstart (2 including a nice view of an adult male), Hooded Warbler, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting, and Baltimore Oriole (2). There were also several Cedar Waxwings in the area.
