Every spring for the 10 years that we've lived in our house near
Greenbelt Lake, we have had a Wood Thrush singing in the back yard.
But this year there were none at all - not even during migration.  We
did have a singing Swainson's Thrush at one point (a new yard bird),
but the absence of Wood Thrushes was very disappointing.
