I am in the middle of doing my Breeding Bird surveys at McKee-Beshers
WMA (Mont Co) and Wood Thrushes are at normal population levels. For
example, today (6-7) I recorded 18 along my best route for Wood Thrushes.
Other highlights today were a Willow Flycatcher calling briefly in
the buttonbush swamp just before you enter the fields and 2 singing
Yellow-throated Warblers ( one at a location I knew about and the other at a
new location).
