Had a nice walk at Hughes Hollow/McKee-Beshers WMA mid to late morning on Sunday. A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was posing for pictures for two photographers using mighty big lenses in the trees right by the parking lot at the beginning of the levee when we arrived at 10:00 and was in the same area when we left at 11:40. We also had three Purple Finches, a Red-breasted Nuthatch, and Swamp and Field Sparrows. The only waterfowl or water birds were three Ring-necked ducks. My complete eBird list is below.
