Shrike do (as put ever so nicely by Paul Noell) impale their victims on tree thorns , barb wire, etc. as a pantry to store its food and come back to eat it later! ugh! thanks Paul and Mark . Should be there in the morning eating it breakfast of mouse if anyone still want to see it.
