I went to Fort Armistead this morning hoping for a closer view of the
Harlequin Duck than I had on Sunday. I had another brief view of the bird,
but much closer this time, as it swam around the rocks to the west and out
of sight. I waited about an hour and a half for it to reappear but it did
not.
