Another odd visitor today. In the bare patch where I saw the HERMIT THRUSH
yesterday, today it was there again - with a BROWN THRASHER. They don't
usually show around here until at least March. More like April. We've had
them nest in the yard on several occasions. This one was down there
hammering at the ground like a woodpecker. Not sure what that is about.
Maybe he took some notes while watching a Flicker.
