I don't know the number of the bill, but it's official name is The
"Clean the Streams and Beautify the Bay Act of 2011" and the primary
sponsors are Al Carr and Jamie Raskin. There are over 35 co-
sponsors. There will be a Panel discussion and film on plastics in
the environment in Annapolis this coming Thursday. The particulars
are at this link: http://www.trashfreemaryland.org/
The important thing is to get your delegates and state senators on
board - - those in the western part of the state, and the Eastern
shore need to know their constituents want this bill passed. Also, if
anyone has delegates on the Environmental or Economic Matters
committees, please contact them! They are: Env Matters: Beidle, Cane,
Glenn, Healey, Hogan, Holmes, Jacobs, Malone, McIntosh, McMillan,
Norman, O'Donnell, Otto, Stein,Vitale, Weir
Econ Matters: Barkley, Braveboy, Davis, Feldman, Haddaway-Riccio,
Harrison, Hershey, Impallaria, Jameson, Kramer, Love, McHale, Miller,
Minnick, Olszewski, Rudolph, Schuh, Schulz, Stifler, Vaughn
Please pass on this information to other relevant lists.
