I did a 110 mile loop through Montgomery Co. today (Black Hill Regional
Park, Lily Pons, Oland Rd., Hughes Hollow,
Rileys Lock). There were several Horned Larks very close to the road in
the field that is located at the nw corner of the intersection of Oland
Road and Rte.85. (at noon). Some of the ponds at Lily Pons are begining to
thaw. I saw two Great Blues feeding. Also, two perched Red Shouldered
Hawks. At Hughes Hollow, I saw the Red-headed W.P. at Hughes Hollow in the
same location as was posted earlier. ( about 200 ft in along the treeline
to the right past the impoundments.) Gorgeous day!

Happy birding,
