Checked out the landings in Worcester and they were fairly quiet. Five BC
Night-Herons and one Tree Swallow(perhaps the same one reported at Truitts
yesterday) at George's Island Landing. Decided to go chasing Sparrows on
Evans Rd. In a cleared field sat an adult Golden Eagle. I watched it for a
few minutes and then it soared off over the tree line. After that sighting,
the sparrows were no comparison.
