Checked out the landings in Worcester and they were fairly quiet this
morning. Of note were 5 BC Night- Herons and one Tree Swallow (perhaps the
same one as reported at Truitts yesterday). Decided to go chasing sparrows
at Evans Rd. In a cleared field sat an adult Golden Eagle. I watched it for
a few minutes and then it soared over the tree line. After that sighting the
sparrows were no comparison.
