Hey everyone,

I birded Tanyard marshes, Hurlock WWTP, and Choptank this evening.

Tanyard marshes

Canada Goose -- 2
Mallard -- 2
Green-winged Teal -- 10
Turkey Vulture -- 1
Bald Eagle -- 3
Red-tailed Hawk -- 1
Wilson's Snipe -- 8
Laughing Gull -- 3
Ring-billed Gull -- 75
Forster's Tern -- 1
Tree Swallow -- 35
Red-winged Blackbird -- 15

Hurlock WWTP was fairly quiet.

Tundra Swan -- 5
American Wigeon -- 7
Mallard -- 12
Northern Shoveler -- 2
Common Goldeneye -- 3 -- First time I have had goldeneye at the WWTP.
Ruddy Duck -- 21
Laughing Gull -- 4
Rough-winged Swallow -- 1
Red-winged Blackbird -- 2

Choptank had the usual roosting Ring-billed Gulls and Laughing Gulls
present at the marina. I wasn't able to find any waterfowl on the
river other than two American Black Ducks. Just outside Choptank in a
flooded field were four Greater Yellowlegs. On Skeleton Creek Rd a
pair of Wood Ducks were observed.
