Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy; 61-85 degrees; poor to fair
visibility with haze; winds southwesterly, 10-16 mph, gusting to 25 mph

Raptor Observations:
Delightful day with 13 species observed, most in good numbers, especially
Red-tailed Hawks and Sharp-shinned Hawks. Clumps of hawks passing by, each
containing several species.

Non-raptor Observations:
Caspian Tern 6; Savannah Sparrow 5; Fox Sparrow 1; Falcate Orangetip

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
