I ended up doing a more extensive wlak at Morgan Run than I planned, but that's me at this time of year. For once I probably got more Warblers than I missed. Here's a lit of those. Stay tuned for a real thrill.

YELLOW-RUMPED
NORTHEN PARULA - see well at low height & close range
BLACK-THROATED BLUE
(SEE ABOVE) GREEN
CHESTNUT-SIDED - seen fairly close
AMERICAN REDSTART - 2 well seen
BLACKPOLL - heard only at close range
COMMON YELLOWTHROAT
OVENBIRD
PRAIRIE
BLUE-WINGED
YELLOW
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT
HOODED - heard near the Kentucky below
KENTUCKY -heard only at a distance
MAGNOLIA - nice look
WOOD THRUSH - ok, so its not a warbler. I like it.

Also think I heard, but could not confirm a YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO.

Now for the thrill. I got a good look at RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. I can only assume they might be breeding there. I will go back to the area where I saw it for additional searches. If there is enough interest I may lead a walk to search for it again since it was seen well away from the main trails and in an area I have not checked much in recent years. I am quite sure this is the first one I have had at Morgan Run in the hundreds of years I've been there.
