At Governor Bridge Natural Area this afternoon a very vocal GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was making his presence known in the grasses on the left (on the path that leads to the canoe launch). A few minutes later I met the park ranger and made a request that they not mow that area just in case this bird was attempting to make the Guv his summer home.
