Sally,
Are you close to any ICC construction? Perhaps that's part of the reason...

Subject: [MDOSPREY] decline of yard birds

Hi All:
Last night as I sat out on my porch I realized that I hadn't heard the wood
hrush call this spring. When I moved to this house that backs up on Northwest
ranch park, I would hear wood thrush, towhees, catbirds and others in the
redawn and dusk chorus. Several years ago the towhee ceased to be heard. Last
ear I heard no catbirds and now this year I only hear robins, scarlet tanagers
nd cardinals. What a loss and a tragedy - not to hear the fluting sounds of
he wood thrush!
