Folks

The sharp eyes of Todd Day relocated the Purple Galllinule at North Beach
today around 11 AM. The bird was coming and going in and out of the reeds
on the north west side of the marsh off Bayside Road, just south of the Anne
Arundle county line. The bird likely entered both Calvert and AA counties
while we watched it. Be patient if you go to look for it. Parking is
limited since the beach road is now gated and there is little shoulder to
study the marsh from.

Thanks to Marcia for finding the bird, Hans for passing the information
along to Rob O., and Rob for posting the note to MDOsprey. A crappy but
identifiable image was obtained. I hope for better on Monday when I go
back. Doing a BBS in the AM so Monday is my next option. Light will be bad
in the afternoon.

Hans Holbrook texted me that Marcia Ballestri found a Purple Gallinule at
North Beach this morning. This is in Calvert County.
