Yesterday afternoon I took a walk around the Hemlock Gorge. I had some great sighting of what seemed like a family of White Eyed Vireos. They were a little fussy as we walked by them on the trail.

Here is a link to my photo of the White Eyed Vireo

And this morning we talk a walk on the fireroad at Prettyboy going towards Gunpowder Road on my side of the street. Very birdie! I was happy to see a couple of Louisiana Waterthrushes, one seem to be feeding the other so maybe one was a juvie?
We also saw and heard a pair of LOUD Yellow Billed Cockoos landed in a tree right above our heads. The Pileated Woodpeckers seem to be very loud this morning, lots of fussy Ovenbirds, Northern Parula's , a female Tanager, Acadian Flycatchers, Wood Pewee, Red Eyed Vireo, Downy woodpecker, Redbellied Woodpecker, Titmouse, Carolina Chickadees, Cardinals, Crows, Cowbirds and Bluejays.
