LIsa Shannon and I visited the Dickcissel site this morning.  Jeff Shenot and his children were on-site, and Anna Urciolo had just left.  The Dickcissel had been singing until shortly before we arrived, but after perhaps 15 minutes it began singing again.  Before that, most of us were able to see a male Yellow-breasted Chat perched on top of a bush, and later Lisa and Jeff saw its display flight.  Other birds we enjoyed there were a male Northern Bobwhite, Willow Flycatcher, Eastern Meadowlark, Grasshopper Sparrow, and a male Orchard Oriole.  Jeff and crew left, then Dan Haas and a friend pulled up and were able to at least hear the Dickcissel.
It was a pleasant morning, with lovely weather, nice company, and birds.
