On the way out of the City today I had a few good flyby birds. Just outside of the Harbor Tunnel Toll Plaza I had a Caspian Tern flyover heading up the Patapsco river away from the harbor. I also saw a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks and a flyover Great Egret in the same general area. Many many blackbirds, grackles and starlings already gathering in reed beds, farms and fields prior to heading out. One flock flying in Silver Springs had over 100 birds easily.
