Tom and I birded the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area in two parts today. We were there from 8AM to around 10 and were chased out by thunder and lightening. We drove around to the Tridelphia Reservoir area for a bit and had lunch and returned to Middle Patuxent to bird from 1 to about 3:30. Birding was much better in the afternoon. We ran into several waves of mixed warblers. I have worked so much lately it was great fun to be out and about.
