Birded the Middle Patuxent later in the afternoon....not as many species as noted earlier by others but the highlight was a male HOODED WARBLER along the river. An amazingly beautiful fly http://flic.kr/p/aiYT7o.

Much thanks to all the feedback on the “baypoll” Many comments that are conflicted but most lean toward Bay Breast. It was a tricky bird...my fist instinct (due to the streaking) was Blackpoll. I remember toying with both and settling on Blackpoll....until the pictures. Curse or blessing?
