We have fruiting Black Gum trees and the birds have found them, mostly thrushes and woodpeckers. For the last week:
Swainson's Thrush - every day, sometimes two
Gray-cheeked Thrush - most days
Wood Thrush - most days
Pileated Woodpecker - most days
Red-headed Woodpecker - haven't seen since 2004
Hairy and Red-bellied Woodpeckers
Red-eyed Vireo - most days
Baltimore Oriole - most days
Scarlet Tanager - all days
