The morning began in low 40's and only warmed up to low 50's at end of
birdwalk 3 hrs. later. Initially, a spit of rain and brisk winds made for a
biting start for 5 hard-core types (including a transplanted PA type) and an
Israeli family of 3. Surprisingly, warbler activity, as well as other species,
made it all worth it. Total count, 42 spp., including 9 sp. of warblers, w/2
possibles.
