Didnt find anything going on going into Southwest Area park today . Stopped at the water view on the way out and birds started accumulating everywhere. 50 Swift coming and going, Lots of Catbirds crossing low back and forth across the road, Osprey hunting , Coopsey took off after the Redtail and harrassed him for few minutes , Egrets congregated then left one by one, Caspians scanning the water and diving for at least an hour . There was one unidentified bird sitting camoflaged in the corner behind the Egret roost spot . Brown colored with white belly . I suppose it could have been a Mallard but i was not seeing the head . Did not see any other Mallard there .
