"Gripped" at having missed seeing so many of the migrants reported from Pt Look-out the day before, some by Jane but not me, I returned early Sunday AM to try again. It was even colder and windier than the previous day, and no raptors were even attempting to cross the water. Not a single one of the previous day's  migrants was present. In their place had arrived:

Solitary S'piper - 2
Hermit Thrush - 2
Wood Thrush
Gr Catbird  -  dozens
C Yellowthroats - 5, m's and f's, one with an eye-ring but still a Y-throat, as some of them will sport just in time for CT W migration
Am Redstart - 2 f
ORANGE- CROWNED WARBLER - only my 3rd in MD. (Thanks, Bonnie Ott, for the first.)
Worm-eating W
Y-br Chat

Out of 20 Gr Black-b Gulls (among 140 Herrings) I did not see the Lesser early in the AM.  When I went back to check after hearing from Patty Craig, all the gulls were gone.

Also from Saturday -
Green Heron - feeding in puddled lawn, away from typical habitat (photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/57109539@N05 )
Myrtle W - first of season
