Hey Matt (and all)

Good show on the OC Warbler at Swan Creek. Ed Carlson and I have been
actively looking for this bird for about four or five weeks now, and just
knew it had to be here. I went by late this afternoon and spent nearly 90
minutes doing a thorough search of the wetland; no OC Warbler, but did have
a (getting late) Common Yellowthroat and Yellow-rump in the mitigated
wetland, and scads of Ruby-crowned Kinglets there as well. The path down to
the wetlands hosted my first on-site HERMIT THRUSH of the season. While
there yesterday I saw the STILT SANDPIPER that Joe Hanfman described today,
along with 18 DUNLIN, and my third E. MEADOWLARK for the site this month.
Also present was a getting-late BLACKPOLL WARBLER and about 50 AM.
PIPITs, all in the north cell. Anyway, it's good to know there's a local
Orange-crown, so the quest will continue.
