The goldfinches at my feeder disappeared directly after the big rains that
came with Tropical Storm Lee. We had nearly a foot of rain in about 24
hours, and the goldfinches were notably absent for some time afterwards.
They are coming back, though, as the weather cools.

Also, I had an immature red-headed woodpecker at the feeder on Sunday.
