Bill et al:

I believe I saw this same Pied Crow in Southwest Area Park,
Baltimore, on January 22, 2009. At that time it was associating with
a large flock of American and Fish Crows.

Southwest Area Park is quite close to the shopping center where Bill
saw it -- probably no more than a mile to the Northwest. It is
bounded to the West by the residential area called Baltimore
Highlands and to the South and East by I-895. The part of the park
in which I saw the Pied Crow was at the North end, adjacent to West
Patapsco Ave. I have not visited this park since 2009, so have no
idea for how long the Pied Crow may have stayed there.

This park does not receive a lot of birding visits, at least judging
from the relatively few postings on MDOsprey, and may be another
place to look if the crow cannot be found around the shopping center.
Park access is from Georgia Ave., East of MD-648 (Annapolis Rd.), by
the light rail station.
