Guys,

I reported that on Wednesday we saw the Barnacle fly up from the riverbank
with a small flock of Canadas. It disappeared over the trees but was not
seen in any of the local fields. Two of us did see a small flock of geese
flying toward the northwest, but they were far enough that we could not tell
if the Barnacle was with them or not, and we were unable to catch up to
them.

There are a LOT of open fields in that area, so it's certainly possible that
the Barnacle is hanging around, just in a different location. And there are
many flocks of geese in that area, too, so it may have new buddies. It is
also possible it was in that small group that flew away, but that is by no
means certain.

It disappeared for a couple of days last week and then was spotted again for
several days in a row. Maybe it has other favored spots?
