I usually don't do puffery but we always have lots of goldfinches, summer
and winter. They eat hulled sunflower seed from a squirrel proof columnar
feed. Doris scattered hulled seeds on the snow this morning and the
goldfinches are gleaning the snow like so many sparrows.

They have been showing up in numbers since the nieghbors began planting
purple coneflowers several years ago.
