Thanks to all who pointed me at the Woodcocks on Sycamore Landing Rd.  It was terrific-I heard 4 or 5 birds and 3 of them took flight.  In the darkening night, a group of Wigeons flew whistling overhead, and a Barred Owl began to call.  A perfect ending to the day.
