I spent another very nice afternoon in Patterson Park. I think today had a slightly more spring-like flavor due to the more varied migrant flocks.

I did snap a picture of the unknown thrush. I have to see if it came out well enough to help with identification. My first impression was of a bird much more faintly marked than a Hermit. I also heard an unusual bird song. It had the quality of a Swamp Sparrow but had a mechanical warble at the end. I recorded the song on my iTouch and will try and download it later.
You'll get a reprieve from Patterson Park, I'll be at North Point SP instead!
