 The Talbot Bird Club sponsored a trip to Poplar Island on April 11th.
2 American Oystercatchers are continuing at Tilghman Back Creek Park,
easily seen from the deck.
The highlights on the island were Blue-winged Teal, Northern Gannet,
American Bittern,  Black-necked Stilt, Long-billed Dowitcher, and
Short-eared Owl. Recently arriving were Snowy Egrets, Willet, Semipalmated
Plover, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and Pectoral Sandpiper.
