I did another foray out of Howard County to look for Odonates (and birds of course) ! Went back to Frederick County (point of rocks and Landers). An exceptional day if you are an odonate enthusiast...found two cast skins of an unnamed species! http://flic.kr/p/bKJkRr Also Ashy Clubtail female

There were birds of course with 11 Common Loons flying over, Horned Grebe on the water, Yellow throated warbler and plenty of Louisiana waterthush singing.

In Howard I had a wonderful walk at Daniels last night with a 2 week early date of Springtime Darner... Winter Wren singing http://flic.kr/p/bwwefh

Font Hill this afternoon a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher gathering nesting material.
